Ms. Ross’s practice includes product liability, industrial accidents, and medical malpractice defense.
Ms. Ross is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo and Eastern New Mexico University. She received her Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, where she received a judicial internship with the Honorable Joseph D. Mintz, J.S.C., and the Honorable Norman E. Wolf, J.S.C.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Ross worked for over thirteen years as a psychologist for the State of New York, Office of Developmental Disabilities, with emphasis in the area of psychometrics, developmental diagnosis, and program development. During her tenure as a psychologist for the State of New York, she served on the Grievance Appeals Board and participated in dispute resolutions on behalf of the Public Employees Federation. She also served on the Informed Consent Committee, which evaluated client behavior modification programs and intrusive techniques.
Ms. Ross is admitted to practice in the State of New York, and before all Federal District Courts in the State of New York. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Bar Association of Erie County, where she serves as the Treasurer, Minority Bar Association, Women Lawyers of Western New York, and the Western New York Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association. She also serves on the Committee for Legal Education and Admission to the Bar.
Ms. Ross is on the Board of Trustees for the NYS Interest on Lawyers’ Accounts, which distributes funds as grants and contracts to not-for-profit tax-exempt qualified legal services providers, for the provision of providing civil legal services to poor persons throughout the state through innovative and cost-effective means, such as volunteer lawyer programs and support and training services.
Ms. Ross is a founding member of Acting in Faith Theater Company. She is also on the Board of Directors for the Church Ushers Association of Buffalo and Vicinity. Ms. Ross is a member of the New York State, Eastern Region and National Church Usher’s Association. She is also the former chair of the Education Department of the Church Usher’s Association, locally. Ms. Ross is a former Board Member of Community Services for Developmentally Disabled.
